Absurda Cocktail Table
ABSURDA Cocktail Table Meticulously designed over three years as part of a collection of cocktail tables, ABSURDA, Spanish for Absurd, was born from a single thought/challenge. How might we take a prism and transform it into a unique and beautiful piece that would stand out from what we usually see, just like taking a stone and transforming it into a gem. At the same we wanted to keep the design as simple as possible, while utilizing smart engineering to contain manufacturing costs, as well as renewable materials that take environmental concerns into account. This genuine and bizarre piece combines simple geometry with a bold and provocative complexity, a dual polarity between what is safe and what is not. It will push you out of your comfort zone and leave you with a strange sensation of defiance. We hope you enjoy!
